Youth exchange residency
Residency, creation and performance
Many thanks for the wonderful collaboration Mouli Pal ( USA/India).
Mouli brought the young dancers trained in Odissi temple dance – from the USA –
Medha Pal, Alicia, Malaka
The residency gave the students an opportunity to train and live in a focused dance community.
Daily yoga, training in Odissi, Contemporary and improvisation sessions and one off session in Kung Fu training.
Mouli created a new work collaborating with musician and percussionist
@ Amelia Jane Jutilane ( New Zealand).
We created a new short contemporary work,” Why are you so…?
and on the last day of the residency, the artists shared their traditional performances in the local school within the sports hall.
Residents also met and performed with Vienna based artists who shared in the dance evening a new contemporary work
#approaches performed by Biannca Anne Braunesberger and Vito Vidovic, to live set

After the performances all who gathered enjoyed DJ set by Austrian artist Nenand.
We were supported from the local community covering hire costs.
Big thanks to all x
